PR & Company created an integrated schedule of activities; conducted media training with the athletes and trade association spokespeople and designed a four-tiered publicity program with the goal of securing print, television and radio coverage in advance of and during the tour; securing business and marketing publication coverage of the California Milk Advisory Board; generating "buzz" and coverage in extreme sports and Generation Y media; and favorable coverage within dairy trade publications.
