PR & Company helped to develop three
Big Idea concepts linking live events, public relations, public affairs
and paid marketing. Supported by a Washington Mutual grant, a Canon
digital camera and a curriculum designed by The New York Historical
Society, the campaign engaged hundreds of middle school students to
photograph public servants at work in their own communities. Schools
were mentored by local neighborhood newspapers and student work was
documented on film and on the Web. Student photographs were exhibited
in their own Washington Mutual financial centers and in a special
Home of the Free exhibit along with David Hume Kennerly's history-making
photographs.
