Wave of Wonder Women

Pink pussy hat power is carrying over to the 2017-2018 elections, and Change Research is part of a wave of new start-ups fueling the rise of women activists and candidates. Meet a few Wonder Women:
- Jessica Alter leapt into action and formed Tech for Campaigns, generating headlines nationwide for her work pairing campaigns with tech support. The non-profit organization has expertly brought together Democratic luminaries like Cory Booker with tech CEOs, ranging from Sam Altman of Y Combinator to Kara Swisher of ReCode, all to outfit campaigns with tech support ranging from websites to social media strategy to coding from thousands of volunteers. An ally of Change Research, Tech for Campaigns is in the midst of a fundraising campaign to help support more campaigns. Connect with the tech A-listers and support the organization by donating here.
- Carolyn Nichols is running for Superior Court Judge in Pennsylvania. If she wins, she’ll become the first African American woman to be elected statewide in the keystone state. She is polling strong across the Keystone state’s cities and the more people know about her stands for justice and fairness for all, her number’s rise. Help Carolyn make history here.
- Mo Kinberg is running for a Ward D City Council seat in Jersey City. An activist mom, strongly allied with the fast-rising and populist Mayor Fulop, Kinberg is promising to build a Jersey City that meets the needs of families first. Learn more about Mo.
Stay tuned to this spot as we profile more candidates and causes that are seeking to build a better America.
